Cashing Our Again

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

After the somewhat disastrous withdrawal of money yesterday, I again made a withdrawal of funds from my Paypal account to my Eon Visa card (we overspent during the holidays that's why we're hitting on my blogging earnings now). This morning my wife called up the Union Bank branch here and the person she talked to was kind enough to explain that it will take around 3-5 days for the missing funds to be returned to my account. I could not wait for the amount to be returned so i made a new withdrawal. I am now crossing my fingers and hoping that things will work smoothly now unlike what happened earlier.

Here's the sceen shot of my new withdrawal from Paypal :

Withdraw to card option! Sayang ang $5 hehehe - unless last time you had problems sa withdraw to bank option.

I always use withdraw to bank option, kung yun ang ginamit mo, mas mabilis - 3 business days lang. Plus, with that amount, FREE pa, wala kang babayaran because it exceeded P7,000.

Laking earnings yan ah.. one month?

What's the difference between "withdraw to bank option" and "withdraw to card option"? I always do the withdraw to card option. Can I add another bank? I have an RCBC account but I guess it would be a long process and the person at RCBC I talked to seemed to be ignorant about things like Paypal.

Most bank tellers are ignorant to Paypal even in other banks like BDO.

Glad you stumbled on my post today. I think that explained the difference.

Yes you can add another bank. I've seen successful Metrobank (like Unionbank, no EFT charges), BDO and BPI withdrawals (with incoming EFT charges) and even to some credit cards (much more expensive). First time to see yours through RCBC.
