Facebook is giving us users the chance to get one of the biggest virtual land grabs ever - the rush to claim your own name on Facebook.com. Who wouldn't want to have his own Facebook vanity url? I already have claimed mine, how about you? If your name is quite common, you must hurry to Facebook now and grab your piece of virtual estate before another person whose name is like yours grabs it first.

Friendster was actually the first one who had those little vanity URLs... anyway, those URLs do contribute in keeping your name up in the SERPs. LOL
