Yahoo has added a somewhat attractively stylish feature in its image search. If you have used Yahoo you probably are familiar with Yahoo Search Assist, which suggests search terms as you type in your query. Well, they added this feature to their image search. When you type in your image query, samples of image results with text query result will come up (see image above). I tried it with the term "van gogh" and what came up are some thumbnails of some of Van Gogh's popular paintings. I tried it with other search terms but it seemed to get muddled a bit sometimes. I guess this additional new feature would not make people shift to Yahoo as thier default search engine even if it has the potential of becoming "cool".

The search engines of yahoo is quite not organized compared to that of google (generally) but i think i would prefer to use yahoo as the image search engine.. the problem? So bad for yahoo because before i remember yahoo, i already found an image from google... funny but my mind just work that way and my mind has the support of my hands.... ^^
December 4, 2008 at 8:25 AMAs for your comment here, I admit I make mistakes in my writings some times but it is not grave. I know it because I have achieved so much with my English... so the post is only for the laugh because I know myself better than that attention getting commenter, i saw his/her comments in other pages and that person use the same technique to get hits back to his/blog (which failed in my case because he/she put a wrong url... hahaha... but thanks for the comforting message... Don't worry I got 960 in my TOEIC and I worked in call center for US when I was in university and that was even before I went around the world... so far people i talk with understand me.. sa awa ng Diyos.. heheheh.. Thanks again Kapatid.
As an addition to my comment on search engines, I think yahoo still needs much improvement to deal with its harsh competition against google... Ten yeqars ago, google was nothing compared to yahoo but things change and i think yahoo should better learn from that.
December 4, 2008 at 8:36 AMAgain, as an addition as well, i noticed that even my first statement in previous comment is also wrong.. which made me smile at myself.. u know us bloggers which are often in a hurry which makes us comment run (which is better than drop and run of course) and the comments or even posts for my case are left unedited.. I, for sure, know that since it is my post, it is my responsibility but well, i need to do so many things... I am a full time office girl, with two extra english tutorials and 4 blogs so u can only imagine... and i said that, 2 english tutorials here in netherlands... so kawawa mga clients ko kasi nga malimali grammar ko, pero nagbabayad sila.. oh diba bongga?
