Ad-Aware 2008 has just been released by Lavasoft. This popular antispyware has three versions : the Free version, the Plus version, and the Pro version. Though the Free version lacks some features like tech support, anti-virus software, scheduled scans, and real-time spyware detection, it is still worth downloading because it, like previuos versions, does its job quiet well. This latest version does not use that much resource (meaning it is light), updates faster, and has an enhanced roorkit removal system. This is what you'll have if you opt for the $26.95 Ad-Aware Plus. If you will have the $39.95 Ad-Aware Pro you will have all of the features in Plus and an additional command line support, network drive scanning, and a process watch module.
