When a disease has no known cure we should not give up on it and just watch helplessly as a loved one suffer from it. My best friend's father suffered from Alzheimer's and I felt the pain his family had experienced because I was always there to see the suffering. But the family did not give up on the person suffering from such a disease, their love and care they were able to make the life of the head of their family bearable.
