Wikipedia is Now Pocket-Size

We all know Wikipedia, who doesn't? It's the best source of quick information from the internet. Do you know that you can now carry Wikipedia in your Pocket PC? Yes, Pocket Wikipedia 1.0 is now available for download. This frees software contains hand-checked selection from Wikipedia which is about the size of a fifteen volume encyclopaedia (24,000 images and 14 million words). The selection was made by Schools Wikipedia. This application runs on PocketPC, Windows and Linux. The .zip package of the program is around 175 MB in size, and contains about 24,000 images and over 14 million words covering about 5,000 articles. After you download the package just extract the files from the archive and it is ready for use, no need of installation.
