Darren Rowse, the guy behind Problogger.net, has some Adsense advice for us that is easy to remember because it is only one word. Yes, just one word : experiment. But of course it is not just that, he's got a lot to say like "There's usually a 'tipping point' where you hit a ceiling of how many ads your users will accept -- push it too far and you could hurt reader engagement, traffic, and in the long run your earnings. On the flip side of this, don't be afraid to have more than one or two ads on a page, particularly if you have long pages with lots of content." Just watch the video for more of what he has to say, but remember, just experiment :)

I have something to add to his advice that will make Adsense work - get more search engine traffic. They're the ones who click more on ads.
February 8, 2009 at 9:10 AMOn the extreme, I have also encountered some sites that look full of ads, but they are earning a lot just because their sites have that Google traffic. But their ads blended well with the template, so those who don't know adsense ads are "tricked" into clicking those ads.
Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Pero palpak pa ren. I guess konti lang kc ang readers ko.
