Edit Local or Remote Code Via a Web Browser

Mozilla Labs has been working on Bispen, a new open-source project that would give developers the ability to edit local or remote code via a Web browser. This Web-based programming environment will combine the speed and power of desktop-based development with the collaborative benefits of cloud computing.  Now Mozilla Labs has unvieled Bespin 0.1 and announced that it is only an "initial prototype framework that includes support for basic editing features,we're particularly excited by the prospect of empowering Web developers to hack on the editor itself and make it their own."

Bispen is a "cloud editor" and we know that this is not the first of its kind, but check out the video above and see what makes it different from other cloud code editors.
