Changes in This Blog
In the next couple of days there would be some little major changes in this blog. First it will have a new look, I am on the process of making a new header (actually its already done, i am just thinking about making another header so that I would have another choice. Aside from the new header the template would also change. Another major change is the move to a new domain name. I have just finished purchasing a domain for this blog so in a day or two this blog will become http://technotechniques.com

I think I did it this time, can you please take a last glance if back to normal na yung page ko...
salamat!
I think its possible to have a gif header, am I right?
parang ialternate mo yung mgaimages so that it looks like a slide show
that's what I am thinking as of now
pero kailangan ko pang kumita sa mga racket ko hehe
best wishes sa new domain... and congrats!
@Berry di ko pa na set-up, 24 hours kasi bago maging available yung domain after the registration, kagabi ko nabili so mamya gabi pa cguro ako mag setup. I will read muna to be sure, Gem's post is helpful and of course the instruction in Blogger. It is easy to do the move but what I am not really sure about is the stats and things like that, I want to preserve them as much as possible. And I would also like to know first the arrangement we do with PPP and SS, what if we have a some opps in line for approval and, I have many opps lining for approval eh. things like that. I would also read about entrecard, would it affect my entrecard. Maraming bagay ang titingnan ko. At sumabay pa talaga yung freelance job na nakuha ko, bakit ako pa kasi yung nanalo sa bid waaaaaaaah I need more than just 24 hours, dapat 48 ang isang araw para magawa natin lahat yung mga dapat nating gawin...
hindi ko nga alam paano mga links and rankings ko, sa akin is "bahala na"
I've noticed matagal ang propagation ng domain mo.. 24 hours. I had it setup with GoDaddy for only about 2 to 3 hours using "www" subhost. It would be a different thing if I use "blog.technotechniques.com"; it can really take 24 hours.
Regaining alexa stats is easier, don't sweat about it.
By the way, I'll hunt all the links in my blog posts later (after your domain switch) so that you get those precious backlinks. =)
As to the set up, it is not exactly 24 hours, I can do it now but I am busy changing the look of my blog first he he he.
kailan kaya next update
hayyyyyyy back to zero talaga
wag kasi idaan sa init ng ulo c:
Gusto ko sana mag-experiment kung totoo ang regain ng PR. Too bad na-PR0 ako sa lumang domain, so di ko masabi kung kakagat ang PR sa new domain.
i think i need to check your blog post regarding the domain thing... hindi ko nagegets yang 301 and 302 na yan
yung PR pala mauupdate sa next google update. di natin alam kung kelan. hehehe. pero saken umabot ng 1 month bago nabalik PR ko.

pabura nung unang comment ko. hehe. anonymous eh.
Just checked in... thanks.
I'll try making updates sa post ko with regards sa 301 and 302 clarifications. For now, marami na akong napuntahan na sites and they all point out to using the 301 thing when moving domains.
To put it simply,
301 - URL moved PERMANENTLY (website will not come back to the old URL)
302 - URL moved TEMPORARILY, this is also equivalent to META-REFRESH
As I've said in the post, I am not an expert on it; so I had pointed out strong reading resources instead of doing writing my own guide. One of them even managed to find me (Blog Bloke) because I had linked up to him.
I've searched around forums and blogs and even business websites. Puro 301 redirect ang recommended to retain search engine rankings.
Blog Bloke has the most detailed write up and explanation, that is why I linked up and recommended using it.
By the way, I've checked your Berry.net domain the other day, it uses 301 redirect from the old domain.
